Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actress who became famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Oscar for the film Piano. In her early years, the accomplished actress began performing on stage in various Broadway or Off Broadway productions. From the time she was a child she's always been enthusiastic about acting. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school production. The fifth grade was the year that following a bout of mumps, she lost hearing in the left ear. But she didn't let that stop her. The college she attended was drama, and then moved between Pittsburgh to New York City to follow her goals. Hunter had her Broadway debut following a chance meeting and Beth Henley, a playwright. The two worked together for Broadway Crimes of the Heart. After moving to Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged a supporting role for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. Her career spans more than 30 years, and she's been featured in numerous TV shows, films and series. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and she has won Women in Film Lucy Award.
